In Cuban Heritage, we celebrate the heritage, culture, and uniqueness that is Cuban. If you want your own story to be told and remembered, you may count on us. Your anecdotes, your photos, videos or any kind of memorabilia can be saved in our vault, kept for the future. That’s how we build our memory.
Who are we? We’re a group of Cubans who decided to create a website for all Cubans around the world. Our staff is composed mainly of young Cubans newly arrived in the US, and we already have an enormous net of Cubans spread all around the world.
We decided to create this site in order to save our memory, our heritage. Let our children and their children remember they’re Cubans, no matter where they’re born. In order to do that, we’re collecting all the Cuban stories we can. Yo may help us do that.
That memory makes us what we are, no matter where we go, no matter where we live. Wherever we go, we behave as if we were at home. Because the world is our home. Our families are our home. Our identity is our home. Our memory is our home. Our heritage is our home. This is what we’re proud of.
We, Cubans, are good keepers. Not much of material wealth, though material wealth is always important for us. But memories, identity, that invisible heritage, is what we’re most proud of. And that we keep better than others. Ask our kids. They know it well. Ask us. We know it better.
